I don’t have anything new to post, so here are some videos of me pole vaulting in high school that I have been meaning to digitize and upload as a monument to when I was athletic and in shape (and, dare I say, hot). As a bonus the last video is me totally missing the mat and somehow managing to land and roll perfectly without hurting myself. Then you will see the swagger of a guy walking away from something he didn’t understand, but has to try and pull it off like it was on purpose.

No Idea, my best guess is I planted my foot too far to the left instead of under me, but even then my momentum still should have been going forward. I don’t have enough physics to explain it, but I only did it once
